    RMR Rail Market Research is a one-stop-store based on an integrated online platform and offers well-founded information about markets, innovative technologies, political framework conditions and companies in order to make the right entrepreneurial decisions in an increasingly complex information situation.

    RMR is operated by the experts of ASTRAN Business Consulting GmbH. ASTRAN is a company from Kiel, Germany, specialized in strategy consulting, project and process management. At ASTRAN, we are passionate about the railway market. Every day we deal with what is happening in the international railway landscape. In order to provide our clients with the best possible information, we maintain a variety of databases with up-to-date business, product and technical information on industry-specific companies.

How do I find the right product for my business?
  • I am interested in a study, but would like to receive a sample before purchasing.
    If you are interested in a sample, please contact us at store@railmarketresearch.com. Samples are produced by our publishers on request for the respective interested party. Please note that it may take 1 – 2 working days for the sample to be delivered due to the time difference.
  • What should I do if I have a question about a specific product?
    If you have any questions about our products, you can reach us via our contact form (link) or by email at store@railmarketresearch.com. You will usually receive an initial response within 12 hours. Please note that our office hours are Mon – Fri from 08:00 to 17:00 (UTC +1, or UTC+2 in summer time).
  • How can I find out which categories are available?
    If you move the mouse pointer over the “Market Reports” menu item, the categories that are accessed most frequently are listed. You can see other categories by clicking on “Market Reports”. All product categories available on our website are listed in the filter area on the left.
  • How can I search for a specific product?
    There is a search bar directly on the homepage, which you can use to search for studies relevant to you using keywords. If you do not find what you are looking for and need help after searching, please contact us at store@railmarketresearch.com.
How do I place my order?
  • I have decided on a study, how do I complete the purchase process?
    Once you have decided on a study, select the appropriate license for you and add the product to your shopping cart. Under “View Cart” you can make changes to your shopping cart and add or delete products. Click on “Checkout” to go to the checkout area. Here you enter your billing details and the e-mail address to which the product is to be delivered. Finally, select the payment method, agree to our terms and conditions and click on “Place Order”. You will then receive an order confirmation by e-mail.
  • What payment options are available?
    Bank transfer: After your order has been placed, you will receive an official invoice by e-mail with our bank details for payment.

    PayPal: If you select PayPal as your payment method, you will be redirected to the PayPal website to submit your details and complete the purchase process. Payment via PayPal guarantees the fastest delivery of your order.

  • Can I receive an invoice for my order?
    Yes, as soon as you have placed your order, an official invoice will be sent to you by e-mail. If you do not receive this or require a printout by post, please contact us.
  • When can I expect to receive my order?
    Due to the different time zones in which our analyst teams and publishers are located, the time frame for the delivery of our products may vary. Market reports are often checked and updated after the order has been placed. However, we endeavor to send the products within 3 to 5 working days after receipt of payment.
  • Can I cancel my order?
    Once an order has been placed, we are no longer able to accept any cancelations. During the order process, you confirm that you have read our terms and conditions. In individual cases, however, a request for cancellation may be considered, e.g. if there are special circumstances. In this case, please contact us immediately (contact)
  • What reimbursement options are available?
    Due to the nature of the products we sell, we are unable to offer refunds on orders.

    Our site is under regular construction and not all studies that can be obtained from us are published in our store. If you have not found what you are looking for, please contact us at store@railmarketresearch.com and we will help you to find the study that is right for you.
  • I have bought a study, but now I need help interpreting the data.
